About European Diesel Injector

European Diesel Injector :

The polymer containing fluid is passed through a diesel injector nozzle at a shear rate that causes the less shear stable polymer molecules to degrade. The resultant degradation reduces the kinematics viscosity of the fluid under test. The permanent reduction in kinematics viscosity i.e. viscosity loss is a measure of the shear stability of the polymer containing fluid.

 

APPARATUS CONSIST OF
Fluid glass container /reservoir : Capacity of about 250 cm and is calibrated in 25 cm intervals.
Double-Plunger Injection Pump : 2-plunger pump is MICO-BOSCH make equivalent to PE2A 90C 300/3S 2266.
Electric Motor : 1.5kW output rated at 925 25 rpm.
Atomization chamber : Spray chamber with tubing, pressure device, nozzle DN8S2-type with holder.
Fluid Vessel / trap funnel : Borosilicate with exterior cooling jacket, distributor plate.
Control Panel : Digital temperature Indicator, Presettable Stroke Counter six digit display.
Cabinet : Sound absorbent powder coated cabinet.
Recommended Spares : Jet tester device consist of reciprocating pump, special jigs and fixtures. Atomization nozzle, holder with filter stick. Reference oil (RL 34) for calibration 5 Lit / 10 Lit / 20 Lit packing.
