About VAPOUR ABSORPTION CYCLE TRAINER

The Vapor AbsorptionRefrigeration Trainer is designed to demonstrate the working of Aqua-AmmoniaVapor Absorption Refrigeration Cycle & evaluate its performance.

The trainer uses packagedrefrigerator having electrically heated Generator, Absorber, Condenser,Evaporator mounted in an insulated cabinet where refrigeration load can beapplied.

The refrigerator uses the mixtureof Water & Ammonia as the refrigerant. Due to an absence of mechanicalcompressor, the refrigerator is quite in operation.

Instruments to measureTemperatures at different points, Power Consumption, Heater Load are fitted onInstrument panel.

EXPERIMENTAL CAPABILITIES:

To identify components of VaporAbsorption Refrigeration System.

To plot the vapor absorptioncycle on P-h Chart.

To calculate COP of VaporAbsorption Refrigeration Cycle.
