The Orifice Discharge accessory comprises a cylindrical clear acrylic tank with an orifice fitted in the base. A traverse assembly enables a piton tube to be positioned anywhere in the jet. A fine wire is attached to this piton tube, which can be traversed across the jet to accurately measure the jet diameter as well as the vena contract diameter. It is helpful in determining the contraction coefficient.
