About ISOTHERMAL BATCH REACTOR APPARATUS

This set-up is used to study a non-catalytichomogeneous reaction under isothermal condition.

The set up consists of a Reactor fitted in aconstant temperature water bath.

One stirrer is fitted for mixing the reactants inreactor and other is fitted in water bath to keep the uniform temperaturethroughout in the bath.

The temperature of bath can be maintained fromambient to 90C with the help of Digital Temperature indicator Cum Controller.Samples can be taken out with the help of a sampling pipette.

Experimentation:

To study the progress of a Chemicals reaction anddetermine the kinetic parameters.

To determine the effect of temperature onReaction Rate Constant.
