About HYDRODYNAMICS OF TRICKLE BED REACTOR APPARATUS

Description

The set-up consists of a glass column.Arrangement is made for changing the glass column conveniently and filling itwith any type of packing required. Air from a regulated pressure vessel passesthrough a sparger and allowed to enter in the column at the top.

Liquid is feed from a tank, fitted with a pumpand is distributed at the top of a column using a spray nozzle. Set-up is fullyaccompanied with manometers required.

Solenoid valves are provided in the feed line atthe top of column for instant release and close.

The flow rate can be adjusted by operating thevalves provided in respective line.

To determine Hydrodynamics of a Trickle BedReactor involving the measurement of pressure drop, hold-up & flow regime.

UtilitiesRequired

Electricity Supply: Single Phase, 220 V AC, 50Hz, 5-15 Amp combined socket with earth connection. Earth voltage should beless than 5 volts.

Compressed Air supply@2 Bar.

Water Supply
