About CONTINUOUS STIRRED TANK REACTOR (C.S.T.R.) APPARATUS

Provided to measure theindividual flow of Chemicals. The flow rate can be adjusted by operating theneedle valves provided on respective Rota meter. The compressed air is used forcirculation of feed. The CSTR is fitted with stirrer for proper mixing. Fromtop outlet of it samples are collected for analysis. Pressure Regulator,Pressure Gauge and Safety Valve are fitted in the compressed air line.

To study the progress of asuitable Chemical Reaction CSTR.

To determine the Reaction RateConstant.

Required for Operation:

Compressed Air Supply at 1 HP, 2CFM.

Water Supply.

Drain.

Electricity Supply: 1 Phase, 220V AC, 0.5 kW.

Instruments, Laboratory Glasswareand Chemicals required for analysis as per the system adopted.

Control Panel:

Standard make on off switch,Mains Indicator etc.
