About B O D Incubator

B.O.D. (Bio-chemical Oxygen Demand) Incubator (Low Temp.):

This system has double walled construction. Anodized aluminium sheet or stainless steel are used for making of inner chamber, which comes with self supports for a range of shelf spacing. It is provided with two/three removable perforated shelves. With a clear inner door of acrylic sheet, inspection of material is possible without disturbing the chamber temperature. With the outer double walled door, magnetic gasket, door operated lamp illumination and lock & key are provided. The cabinet is mounted on castors and temperature is controlled by micro processor digital temperature controller cum indicator, ranging from 5 C to 50 C ± 1 C. Uniformity of temperature in the complete chamber is maintained by the inner air circulating system. Safe and efficient working is ensured by placing a silent sealed compressor with protective devices along with fan cooled condensing coil below the chamber. Control panel at the top of cabinet has three indicator lamps for mains, voltmeter, heating & cooling, temperature controller, cord-plug, etc., and equipment is operational on 220 V AC 50 Hz single phase.

Note: Use of an apt Voltage Stabilizer is important.

Humidity System (Steam) for BOD Incubator:

BOD Incubator is provided with humidity arrangement. Creation of humidity is by condensation of steam that is generated by heaters dipped in water. Humidity can be controlled by imported humidistate from ambient to 95% ±3%RH.
