Product Description

COD Digester is widely used Thermo reactor for determining Chemical Oxygen Demand in several substances.

Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is a Measure of the Water Capacity to Consume Oxygen at the time of Organic Matter Decomposition and the Oxidation of Nitrite, Ammonia and other Inorganic Chemicals.

COD Measurements are done on Waste Water Samples or of Natural Waters Contaminated by Domestic or Industrial Wastes.

Measurement of Chemical Oxygen Demand is done as a Standardized Laboratory assay, wherein a closed Water Sample is Incubated with a Strong Chemical Oxidant Under Specific Temperature Conditions and for a Particular Time Period.
